Cat cafes in Singapore: visit a resident colony, not your own cat

A cat cafe is somewhere you go to spend time with the cats who live there, not somewhere you bring your own. Browse cafe listings and Google ratings, then check current booking details with each operator.

How a cat cafe visit actually works

A cat cafe is not a place to bring your own cat. It's a cafe or lounge space where a resident colony of cats lives full time, and you pay to spend time with them, usually as a seating fee or a minimum food and drink order rather than a straight entry ticket. Staff know each cat by name and can tell you which ones are shy, which ones want a lap, and which ones are off limits that day.

Most Singapore cat cafes ask you to sanitise your hands on entry, keep phone flashes off, and let a cat come to you rather than chasing or picking one up. Some run timed seating slots on weekends when demand is high. Policies vary by venue, so check the specific cafe's page or call ahead before you go, especially if anyone in your group has a cat allergy.

Cat cafe

Cattraction Cat Cafe

Desker Rd, Central

Cattraction’s site describes interacting with its resident cats in a lounge, not bringing your own cat. There is a source inconsistency worth checking: parts of the FAQ and testimonials use the related Catmosphere name. Confirm the correct address, booking product and current house rules with Cattraction. This record is retained while those brand-specific details are resolved, and no own-cat admission claim is made.

Cat cafe

Catmosphere Cat Cafe

Desker Rd, Central

Catmosphere offers human visitors time with cats who already live at the café. It belongs in a resident-cat experience category, not a list of places verified to accept your own cat. Look at the current booking options and house rules, including handling, children and arrival times. If your aim is an outing with your own animal, ask the operator explicitly before making a reservation. A café’s resident population does not establish permission or suitable conditions for an unfamiliar visiting cat.

Wildflower Studio - Art Jamming x Cat Cafe Singapore

UOB Ability Hub, Central

Wildflower Studio combines art sessions with its resident and foster rescue cats at Enabling Village, 20 Lengkok Bahru, #01-19C. The booking page offers a 2.5-hour semi-guided session at S$48 and an hourly Chill and Paint option at S$20; confirm the current slot, inclusions and any age conditions when booking. The studio lists a noon-to-2pm cat rest period. Plan around the session you reserve rather than assuming continuous animal interaction throughout opening hours. This can be an owner-only outing or a way to learn about adoption, but the resident cats are not permission to bring a cat from home. Ask the team on 8101 4990 about access needs and external animals before travelling. Its rescue and community programmes are described by the operator; we do not turn those claims into a clinical or safety certification.

Cat Paradise Singapore - Adoption Cat Cafe

Joo Chiat Rd, East

Cat Paradise is an adoption-focused resident-cat experience at 169 Joo Chiat Road, Level 2. Its FAQ encourages booking because ordinary sessions are capped at six visitors; walk-ins depend on availability. Children are permitted with adult supervision below twelve, and admission is charged per person regardless of age. Visitors may not bring their own treats for the cats. Adoption enquiries go through the team and its rescue partners; the stated adoption fee is S$200–250, which should be confirmed for the individual cat. This is a place to meet cats already in the centre, not established permission to bring your own cat. Rehoming requests are considered case by case and should be discussed by WhatsApp on 8066 0867, not handled by arriving with an animal. Boarding is advertised through a separate cat-hotel service with separate terms.

Cat cafe Temporarily closed

SGCatHouse Cat Cafe | Pet Shop | Pedigree Kittens for Sale

Geylang Rd, Central

SGCatHouse describes resident-cat interaction, cat grooming and a cat hotel, but its homepage also announces a store break with the next location still to be confirmed. Kitten enquiries continue, according to that notice; this does not establish that cafe visits, grooming or boarding are available during the break. The previous invitation to bring your own cat to socialise with resident cats was unsupported. Call 9766 6610 for the current location and exact service before making plans.

Cat cafe

Pat-A-Cat

Joo Chiat Rd, East

Pat-A-Cat combines time with resident cats and a reported rescue/adoption role in Joo Chiat. It can be a starting point for learning about individual cats and asking what a suitable home would involve, but the cafe visit is not a guarantee that a particular cat is available or that an application will be accepted. Two independent listings give 408B Joo Chiat Road; confirm that address and the current booking process with the operator. Ask about the cats currently seeking homes, their known histories, health information and the next steps for an application. Prices and inclusions should be confirmed when booking. We have not found permission to bring your own cat, so do not treat the presence of resident cats as that permission.

Cat cafe

Catopia Cafe

Dunlop St, Central

Catopia’s current website advertises cat boarding, art jamming and retail, and introduces its resident cats. For an owner, the useful distinction is between visiting those cats and booking care for your own. The homepage does not establish that your cat can join a casual cafe or art session. Ask about admission, the current address and opening arrangements, and separate boarding requirements such as vaccination, parasite prevention and supervision. Do not arrive with your own cat on the strength of the cafe category alone.

Cat cafe

Meownistry of Meow

Jalan Klapa, Central

Meownistry of Meow offers time with resident foster cats, coworking facilities, drinks and games. It allows walk-ins subject to space, recommends reservations and excludes children under ten. Only its approved treats may be fed to the cats. Adoption is decided by the individual rescuer, with a home assessment and trial described in the FAQ. It explicitly does not currently offer cat boarding; screened foster intake is a different arrangement and does not mean visitors can bring their own cats. Check current opening notices and booking prices before travelling.

Cat cafe

The Cat Experience | TSV

Vista Exchange Green, Central

The Cat Experience at The Star Vista is described in independent visitor coverage as a place to meet resident cats alongside a related coffee business. That is not permission to bring your own cat. The old official cat-page link now returns 404 and the current coffee website does not settle operating sessions or entry terms. Call 8862 6433 to confirm whether the cat venue is operating, the current charge, age rules and booking route. The earlier claimed welfare-group/adoption partnership was not supported by the reviewed evidence.
