Wellness (Cat) cat food: ingredient review
Record review date: 12 September 2026. Check the current pack and linked evidence. Tell us if this is out of date.
Product notes now identify the source market and exact recipe, including differences between current CORE+ branding and older names. Ingredient lists and nutrient figures are recipe-specific. The earlier blanket no-artificial-anything and best-formulated rankings were not adequate evidence of individual suitability. Check the nutritional adequacy statement and match the pack rather than choosing solely by grain-free branding. Across the 3 Wellness (Cat) products we have reviewed, these notes cover 3 Wellness (Cat) products. Check the exact recipe, current ingredients and complete or complementary designation; ingredient ratings alone cannot establish a suitable daily diet.
What we found
There are 3 product records here; 2 have a sourced feeding role. Read the source scope and market before applying it to the pack you have. An unconfirmed role is a gap in our evidence, not proof that a food is unsuitable.
Ingredient order, grain-free wording and price do not by themselves establish nutritional quality. Check completeness, life stage, formulation expertise and quality controls. WSAVA explains the questions to ask.

Wellness Complete Health Adult Salmon & Herring We've seen this product sold in Singapore but couldn't verify the full ingredient panel from the brand's own source. Missing information is not proof of poor quality or of a suitable serving. Check the current pack before choosing it. If you have a photo of the ingredient panel, we'd love it:meow@urbancatowner.com.
Check the exact pack for its complete or complementary statement and intended life stage before choosing it as a daily food.

Related Complete Health Grain Free Indoor Salmon & Herring recipe. Exact identity of the abbreviated Adult record needs pack confirmation.
The current US Complete Health Indoor Salmon & Herring page describes complete grain-free food and lists peas, chickpeas and potatoes. This contradicts the old description of oatmeal and barley, but does not prove that the abbreviated Adult record is the same pack. Confirm the precise recipe before using its ingredients or feeding role. The old claim that grains are a quality trade-off has also been removed.

Indoor Deboned Chicken, Turkey and Chicken Meals recipe. Current local page uses CORE+ branding; match the pack.
The Singapore manufacturer lists this chicken-and-turkey indoor recipe for adult maintenance. Its current panel gives 38% minimum crude protein and 10% minimum crude fat, correcting the earlier 16% fat claim. The page now uses CORE+ branding, so match your pack to the linked recipe. Grain-free positioning and a named first ingredient do not establish that it is the best food for every indoor cat.

CORE Kitten Deboned Turkey, Turkey Meal and Deboned Chicken dry recipe on the local site.
The local page states a formulation meeting AAFCO nutrient profiles for growth and gestation/lactation. The panel starts with deboned turkey, turkey meal and deboned chicken, and lists salmon oil and herring meal. Its protein minimum is 45%, not the previously quoted 42%. The source identifies salmon oil for added DHA; the old attribution to flaxseed and menhaden oil did not match this recipe. The unsupported best-in-Singapore ranking has been removed.
