NParks prohibits pets in Central Catchment Nature Reserve and specifically lists MacRitchie trails as dog-excluded. This source does not establish permission across every reservoir-park lawn or perimeter path.
Ask the team about your plans before you book or travel, especially if your cat needs a particular space or arrangement.

A quiet reservoir photograph does not establish a suitable cat outing at MacRitchie. Pets are prohibited in the adjoining Central Catchment Nature Reserve, and the source reviewed does not resolve admission to every part of the reservoir park. Confirm the exact area and carrier conditions with the land manager first. Keep your cat out of the nature trails; a carrier does not create an exception.
