Sentosa’s pet guide welcomes pets on its beaches with a controlled leash no longer than 2.4m. This general invitation includes household dogs and cats. Attractions, public toilets and public transport are excluded; a separately verified dining venue may have its own designated pet seating.

Tanjong Beach falls within Sentosa’s general pet-friendly beach policy, which includes cats. Whether a beach outing suits your own cat is a separate question. Plan secure handling, a familiar carrier and an easy departure if the cat becomes distressed; never treat an open beach as an enclosed cat play area. Bring water and provide shade rather than relying on photographs of trees or a nearby restaurant. Ask the chosen transport provider about the cat and carrier before booking.
