Cat zodiac personality match

The Chinese zodiac runs on a 12-year cycle, with each year corresponding to one of 12 animals. Enter a known birthday for the lunar-year animal, or use a year-only preview if the date is uncertain. The personality stories are invented entertainment, not predictions or pet-matching advice.

The Steady One. Predictable in the best possible sense. This cat has a routine, prefers it unchanged, and executes it with calm authority. Do not move the food bowl. Do not rearrange the furniture. The Ox cat is not inflexible; it simply knows what works.

Why the birthday matters

This tool uses the Lunar New Year boundary, not 1 January. For example, the Horse year begins on 17 February 2026; 16 February is still in the Snake year. Other astrological traditions may use a different boundary. The date calculation does not make the personality story scientific.

Check the Hong Kong Observatory 2026 calendar or 2025 calendar. These sources support the calendar, not the invented compatibility or personality descriptions.

Use observed needs and careful introductions when choosing a companion. A zodiac sign is not evidence that two pets will get along.
